I was not surprised, but very happy with this development. His DNA was found on her body, which was covered with bitemarks and bruises. This was a horrific murder that seems to be overlooked in the news whenever something happens. Hopefully more will be printed soon. However, Jose Ortiz-Garcia has now been charged with a murder in Oregon that happened 8 days after Lela’s murder. I wonder if there are other murders as well. He seemed to be quite mobile and moved around a lot, like many serial killers. Just a thought.
